Jazz Standard, MINGUS BIG BAND, Monday, May 23
Jazz Standard might be my favorite jazz club in the Manhattan. Amazing music, wonderful food, elegant setting and friendly staff make a great combination. Last night Mingus band was electrifying and fun. They can be found there every Monday.

Wonderful Barbara Rosene transformed us back to the golden age of jazz in an intimate setting of Smalls. It seemed we were in someones living room or on a porch and Rosene was singing just for us.
